LCARW is getting ready for an exciting 2024! I am excited to be chosen as your 2024 President and would love to have you involved! See the below information and let me know if there are any areas where you would like to be involved and we will plug you in!

Committee Volunteer Opportunities – It is not a requirement to join a committee.

LCARW committees offer opportunities to get involved and make a positive difference in our community.  Our members are dedicated volunteers to the Montgomery County Republican Party and many local, state and national campaigns. From veterans to schools, from education to the many needs of our community, LCARW is there with volunteers and support.  Our reach and growth are only possible when you get involved!

  • Americanism – Enjoy the fun of reading and judging the entertaining essays written by 3rd and 5th graders from the Montgomery and Willis ISDs. Help in the presentation of this award winning “My American Hero” event.
  • Caring for America – Nationally recognized by the National Federation of Republican Women for many years, this committee is very active in numerous community service projects in our area. The largest of these are our 9/11 Project showing support to all area first responders. Rewarding and fulfilling are just some of the words used to describe this committee’s efforts!

  • Community Engagement – A wonderful way to discover so many groups and organizations in our area. This committee fosters relationships and looks for new ways for LCARW to make our communities better and stronger.

  • DVR- Deputy Voter Registrar – Get Out The Vote! Become a Deputy Voter Registrar through the Montgomery County Election Central office.Register Montgomery County residents to vote.Attend events to sign up voters and get the Republican message out.

  • Scholarships – Rewarding the efforts of area high school students heading off to college holds a special place in the hearts of all LCARW members. This committee carefully and diligently judges scholarship applications of area high school seniors and presents the winners at our annual scholarships luncheon.

  • Social Group – Beyond Politics! Enjoy social outings with your fellow conservative LCARW friends. We can’t always be on duty, let’s take time to strengthen bonds and create lasting friendships. Outings may include dinner, shopping trips, concerts, etc.

  • Special Events – Who doesn’t like to plan a party or special event?!Whether it is our bus trip to TFRW Legislative Day or our Annual Christmas Party, help is always needed.
